Standard Log And Error File
In \Automation\Logs\, Prelude Desktop will maintain a CSV file named automation.log:
Each record in the file will consist of the following fields:
DATE – Date – System Date “DD/MM/YY”
TIME – Text – System Time “HH:MM:SS”
FILE – Text – YYYYMMDDHHMMSSMMM-CC-TTT.CSV
MESSAGE – Text – “Automation succeeded”, “Automation failed”
NAME – Text – Company Number
CONTEXT – Text – Summary of process, e.g. “Sales Order 123545”“Customer Maintenance”
DESCRIPTION – Text – to identify the problem, e.g.“Product Code not recognised”, “Customer not recognised”
For failures, the associated file will be moved to \Automation\Quarantine\ where it can be edited and manually moved to \Automation\Pending\ for reprocessing.
