Reporter – CSV Import

The primary purpose of this feature is for Prelude Desktop to provide a report definition for you (the customer) as a csv file to import into your database.

The .csv file comprises 22 columns (field characteristics) and a row for each field

  1. Report Name
  2. Sequence 1 onward for each field
  3. D7F….Field Name
  4. Field Name
  5. Column Title
  6. Column Width
  7. Format – 1 = Natural, 2 = Uppercase. 3 = LowerCase, 4 = Normal Case, 5 = Raw Code
  8. Suppress Repeat Values – T or F
  9. Blank if Zero/False – T or F
  10. Hide Field – T or F
  11. Expression Name
  12. Data Type C, N, D etc
  13. Length before Decimal Point
  14. Length after Decimal Point
  15. Expression Part 1
  16. Expression Part 2
  17. Character, Date, Numeric etc
  18. Blank
  19. Sub Total T or F
  20. Blank
  21. Blank
  22. Sequence again
