Sales Ledger – Sales Activity And Analyses Reports

Purpose:
The Sales Daybook and Product/Stock files interact to enable the production of reports to help you analyse and manage Sales and Marketing activity.

Preparation:
Ensure customer ledger accounts are up to date – all transactions posted.

Ensure product file is up to date – all stock movements entered.

Processing:
Either; On the main menu click Ledgers > Sales > Reports > Sales Analysis, or
Click Reports Control button – Sales Page – click required buttons.
Select report required from:
Product Sales – Lists sales quantities, revenues by product code – see Product Sales form.
Customer Analysis – Prints period and YTD turnover by two-character analysis code directly to selected output – see Printing Reports.
Customer Turnover – Show sales value, number of invoices and date of last sales by customer – see Customer Turnover form.
Price Lists – List selling prices and units by product code grouped into selected categories – see Stock Control – Price List form.
Sales by Customer/Product – Lists quantity, sales value and cost of products/services sold by period & YTD by customer – see Sales by Customer/Product form.
Sales by Product/Customer – Lists quantity, sales value and cost of customer sales by period & YTD by product – see Sales by Product/Customer form.
Rep Sales by Customer/Product – Lists quantity, sales value and cost ofproducts/services sold by period & YTD by customer by rep code – see Rep Sales by Customer/Product form.
Rep Sales by Product/Customer – Lists quantity, sales value and cost of customer sales by rep by period & YTD by product – see Rep sales by Product/Customer form.
Customer Activity – Prints activity between a range of accounts, a range of dates and a range of nominal codes.
Nominal Analysis– Prints details of invoices and credit notes by nominal code and for a single or range of accounting periods
Select printer – see Printing Reports.
Click OK to print/display/export to selected file type.
Close form.

Reporting:
Distribute reports as requested – remember that this is commercially sensitive information.

Filing:
As required – but be aware that this would be useful to your competitors.

A view of some of the various analysis reports. To view others simply click on the report’s menu option enter the necessary criteria and print to view.
